Upstream Construction

The upstream method is the lowest initial cost and most popular design for a raised stitch embankment in low-risk seismic areas. One of the reasons for this is mainly due to the amount of minimum material required for initial fabrication and later ones that are generally entirely of the coarse fraction of the tail.

Construction of an upstream designed embankment begins with a deformed (free draining) starter dyke foundation. The dam is usually discharged from the top of the dam, creating a beach that becomes the basis for extending the future embankment. Cyclones can be used to speed up this particle separation by allowing some tail characteristics to send the center of the synovial and the sand fraction to the beach behind the crest. The traditional mode of upstream depends on any composition of the spigoted beach forming the embankment coast . Today condensation by earthmoving equipment is common to increase the degree of protection of raised embankments. Typically the coarse fraction arranged from spigots / discharge points is used as material for embankments. A series of shallow pits are dug in front of the spigots for several spigot discharges (once the tail has dried and consolidated) and placed on the embankment crest, narrowing them, lifting the tailing lines. Is taken and then normal operation begins.

Why we use mats in upstream construction:

There are similar service requirements for projects in the upstream industry, no different from the middle and downstream markets within oil and gas. In particular with drill sites, it may be necessary to use rubber infused mats with ppe laminated mats to provide access as well as to build temporary platforms. In addition, excavators, cranes, dozers and other machinery can be moved to the site along with any other equipment to complete the project.

Typical construction mat applications include oil and gas exploration, as well as transmission lines, pipelines, roads for wind power generation and mining operations, and working platforms for maintenance. In addition, construction mats are also used in a variety of other applications, including soft clay, storage pads, and helipads. The mat system can also be used as a tracking pad to remove excess soil from the threads of the vehicle. This can reduce problems associated with the use of traditional aggregate tracking pads, which are difficult to work with, expensive and difficult to overcome.

Lightweight mats are installed without heavy equipment. This reduces the risk of injury and reduces equipment needs for access to the construction site. By tightening steel torsions, these ground protection mats provide a strong connection for load transfer between sections and can be pre-assembled for quick installation in remote site applications.

Civil Construction and Blue Gator ground protection mats

Civil construction falls under the category of civil engineering, which is about the design, construction and maintenance of a physically and naturally built environment.
Civil construction is the art of making bridges, dams, roads, airports, canals, and buildings and many more things.

Civil engineering is the oldest subject in engineering. From the beginning of human existence, it has been an aspect of life. This helps to design the structure in such a way that it is able to withstand the load and to support it successfully. Consistency of design will serve as the basis for civil construction.

In today’s society, there are large construction and civil engineering projects.
The infrastructure used in our daily lives has been built due to civil construction and engineering. Roads, railways, stadiums, ports, schools and all other buildings are the contribution of civil engineering.

Civil Construction Phase

Classifying large projects into civil construction phases has always been hypothesized whether it is for independent or combination construction. To enhance the progress of civil construction, each stage of the process is taken as an individual contract. All contracts continue in special patterns and schedules. In order to maintain the quality of work in the manufacturing process, the duration of every phase must be analyzed and evaluated before the process begins. Each phase of construction should have its own time period of implementation. Useful for crane mats, swamp mats, well drilling
and water drilling.

Midstream Construction

The oil and gas industry is a vast supply chain that starts with raw materials from the earth and ends up on many products on which we depend. That chain consists of three main links – upstream, midstream and downstream. Each of these market segments requires companies with specific skills and expertise as they differ greatly from each other.

Those who follow the industry in North America are probably most familiar with its central part, but they cannot understand how it differs from other stages of production. A brief break of this important component of this process is what we know as the energy market.

In broad terms, upstream refers to the extraction and production of crude crude oil and natural gas. This typically includes exploration and drilling. Companies operating in the downstream part are involved in processing those materials into fuels, rubbers, plastics, and other products. Midstream pipeline organizations are responsible for ensuring that the fluids and gases extracted from the earth controlled by the parties above reach the processors at the bottom.

Enterprises involved in this side of the business typically participate in transportation, storage and some processing. Although large-scale pipelines are probably the most important element of transportation, oil and gas are also transported in tanker trucks, rail cars and ships. Storage tanks and compressors are used to transport liquids and gases to their next destinations before placing them.

This part of the supply chain is different from others due to the concentration on transport and infrastructure. For example, midstream construction is an important aspect of this segment due to the construction of all storage facilities and pipelines. Pipes have to traverse large numbers of land to transport oil and gas from remote farms to processing areas and pumping stations. Contractors providing this level of support must be exceptionally skilled under the unique engineering challenges as well as the rigorous regulatory restrictions under which they must work.

Oil and gas transmission projects have to cross through some of the most isolated and least developed parts of the country. This means that access can be extremely limited for the contractors they have to build. Furthermore, they need to balance the need for their work with the sensitivity of fragile ecosystems around their work sites. This is why temporary road construction and midstream construction mats creating temporary zones are essential.

How does Midstream Construction benefit from GROUND MATS ?

Midstream pipeline construction mats services can be provided by many companies. Due to the remote and usually wet areas where pipeline construction occurs, it is unavoidable that they use heavy equipment to safely access their respective projects. Usually made of durable recycled HDPE and RUBBER infused they form a sturdy base that allows cranes, trucks, and other heavy-duty machinery to take them to places where roads often do not reach, then use road matting for making temporary roads .

In addition to building a temporary road, it is important to reduce ground pressure in any project by providing weight stabilization. Our pipeline construction mats can be used to ensure that any machinery crosses the pipeline. This has the added advantage of causing less disturbance in wetlands and other ecologically sensitive areas. This means that the crew can leave nature more or less unchanged, regardless of their activity.

By the help of mats construction worker can do their jobs easily and after using ground mats they get to face less difficulties in the construction.

When it comes to landscaping, the options are gone.  Some people want a perfectly balanced combination of hardscape (patios) and softscape (floors).  While others want to recreate a certain garden style that appeals to them, such as modern or tropical.  Others want to complete a space with an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, and a pool where they can entertain friends and family.  Whatever you want, be sure to communicate it clearly to the professional you are working with.

Start by examining your landscaping images and see what you like and what you don’t like.  Below, look at examples of local gardening projects to determine what works in your area.  Finally, do your research and learn about the specific features you want to include in your scenario.

  Landscaping Process

With knowledge of gardening and familiarity with the elements and principles of landscape design, a landscape professional can help you transform your property.  The landscape architect, designer or contractor you want to work with will guide you through the landscaping process, which includes a design and build phase.

The biggest mistake DIYers make is running into the construction phase without a plan.  The landscape plan transforms the views into views and ensures that scale and layout have been thought of before construction.  Your landslide will create a plan for your yard that suits your needs and provides solutions to common landscaping problems, such as slopes, wind, sun or lack of space.

Ground construction mats help protect lawns and golf courses. They help spread the heavy weight of cranes and large bucket trucks . They are a necessity for golf course that need the perfect course.
